Dr Diafas specialises in ocular oncology, vitreoretinal surgery, retinal diseases and cataract surgery. He has extensive clinical experience in the diagnosis and management of ocular tumours, as well as in the treatment of complex retinal conditions.

He has completed advanced specialist training at renowned international centres, including Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, one of the world’s leading ophthalmic centres. There, he gained extensive experience in the management of ocular oncology and retinal diseases, as well as in the application of modern diagnostic and surgical techniques.

Alongside his clinical practice, he maintains an active interest in research and academia, contributing to scientific activity and to the advancement of knowledge and contemporary ophthalmic practice.
