Dr Diafas Shares Insights into Contemporary Ocular Oncology
Dr Diafas presented two highly relevant topics in ocular oncology: “Miscellaneous Choroidal Lesions” and “Current and Emerging Treatment Strategies in Uveal Melanoma.”
His presentations explored the clinical approach to ocular tumours, from initial clinical suspicion and appropriate diagnostic evaluation to recognising features suggestive of malignancy and potential systemic disease.
He also highlighted current advances in the management of uveal melanoma, reviewing established treatment options alongside emerging therapeutic strategies and their evolving role in contemporary clinical practice.
